The moment a new little one joins your life, your whole world shifts. Even if this is your first baby or your fifth, every new life changes you for the better, each time.
Newborn sessions are not just about your new little one, they are also about you. The family that new life just joined into, whether you both are transitioning into first time parents or your other children are becoming big siblings for the first time. So, not only is it our goal to capture the tiniest features of your newest love, it's also our goal to preserve the awe in your eyes when looking at your newborn and how much love you all had for them from the very beginning.
The very beginning of a new life are some of the most blissful moments that you'll have as a family but also moments that feel like they are gone in an instant. Newborn photos are important because babies change in an instant. One day you’re looking at your fresh newborn and the next day they look like they’re about to walk and you sit reminiscing on the first days after they came home from the hospital. Don’t let those memories be fleeting thoughts.
But, with that blissful enjoyment also comes the hecticness of a newborn. Don’t forget to take a few moments to really soak in your new addition and the new love that has entered your family.
Location
We are located in Bucks County, PA, but love to travel anywhere. We typically shoot in the natural landscapes of Pennsylvania and New Jersey but are always looking for an exciting adventure.

When should we schedule newborn photos?
We’re able to capture beautiful and sweet moments at any stage of your newborn, but for the best results we suggest doing a newborn photo shoot between 4-14 days of birth. This gives us the best opportunity for some of those dreamy, sleepy newborn photos. At this age babies are most flexible. They are just starting to uncurl, so it is still easy for a photographer to curl up a baby in a fetal position. By one month, a baby's neck muscles will become stronger creating a greater challenge during a newborn session.
Where does the session take place?
Wherever you are most comfortable! We usually suggest in home newborn sessions, because they allow for the most comfort for you and the newborn. We will find spots in your home with the best natural light and incorporate some nursery photos in there as well. But, if an in-home session stresses you out, don’t worry, we can always discuss a studio option as well!
What should we wear?
We always suggest neutral clothing, but always make sure to bring a change for yourself and the baby, sometimes accidents happen!
How long do newborn sessions usually take?
Between two and three hours. Most of this time is used to change, pose and soothe the baby, this time is very flexible and we tailor the session to both your family and the temperament of the baby at that time.
Do I need to buy props for the session?
I bring a variety of props, accessories, blankets, wraps, hats, bonnets, etc. for the session but if you have anything specific to your family that you would like to incorporate, we can discuss and incorporate that into your session, for example any custom outfits, etc.
